Thank God they franchised! The Flying Biscuit has forever been a Saturday morning staple for Atlantans (Atlanta, GA is the birthplace of The Flying Biscuit) and now Charlotte can enjoy the organic goodness too! All of their breakfast menu items are delicious but be sure to try their dinner, we recommend the Love Cakes. Don’t let the fact that it is a franchise fool you, The Flying Biscuit is all about quality! Sun-Thu 7am-9pm, Fri-Sat 7am-10pm

In a great part of town…so it attracts the trendy crowd. Other than that good atmosphere with your normal pancake breakfast menu (grits, eggs, omelettes, etc). Get ready to wait if you’re visiting on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, as this is the busiest hour for them. Beats IHOP hands down (as if IHOP is hard to beat)! You’ll never guess…so I’ll tell you! Le Peep is in fact a chain but that doesn’t detract from it being delicious. Do keep in mind that location is small and there may be a little waiting involved but the generous portions make up for that and some. You definitely won’t leave hungry!
