Located in the South End, this multi-functional nail salon and spa offers so much more than a quick polish change. You first begin start your journey toward clean cuticles with a glass of wine from a jug poured by the uber-hip manager. He’ll refill your glass throughout your appointment, so don’t be afraid to drink up. While the fluorescent lighting and short walls tend to make you feel like you’re on a television set, all you need to do to transport yourself is get in those massage chairs and get your nails did! Make sure you ask Jay to put the quick dry on since (apparently) he’s the only qualified tech to do so and if the older lady forgets to massage your feet – make sure you request a discount. Similar to most nail salons, Polished also offers waxes and facials for those in need of further grooming. There are a ton of pedicure chairs and the large manicure bar serves at least 20, so the wait on the comfy leather sofas (if there is any) will definitely be short.
