Grab your cowboy boots and get ready to party!

Accolades for Reckless Kelly Was Here sounded a lot like this one from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: "(The album) captures every ounce of stage energy and deserves to be listed with the great live rock-era albums, alongside the Who's Live at Leeds, Janis Joplin's Cheap Thrills or even Warren Zevon's Stand in the Fire. It's that good." And no less an authority than the Nashville Tennessean labeled the band "one of the most able torch-carriers in recent years for cranking, passionate twang-rock." Yeah, the Reckless Kelly guys are in their prime and they plan to stay there for a long, long time.

Band of Heathens and Scott Miller open

    Event Information:
Please join us for an evening of art and camaraderie as we display work by Paul Hastings in our main gallery. Make way for your gaze to soar over open seas, mountain ranges, wetlands and Tuscan landscapes. Migrating from one work to another, you will travel to a space and time that brush stroke and color capture best.

Blatantly versatile, Paul Hastings' paintings feature a kaleidoscope of surreal color, amplified perspective and subjects that very nearly whisper your name from a dream. Accentuated shadow and highlight beg a "touch" to see if the paintings are truly two dimensional. His work is a warm welcome mat into the local art community.

Touch the warmth of Hastings' world Friday, November 6th from 7-9pm as we welcome him with a Opening Meet the Artist Reception. (open to the public)

The show will run from November 6-29th, 2009.

At the end of our last meeting, we decided that we would change our focus. In our meeting we had once again looked at the issue of whether the axioms of Objectivism were meaningful or not (or unambiguous in their meaning), with, of course, no final agreement. We thought that it would be good now to shift our focus to how our own philosophical orientations and assumptions affect our own lives, in terms of how we think, how we feel, and how we behave, including how we relate to each other and to our society and culture. So we anticipate that the discussion will have somewhat more personal meaning to each of us, as opposed to it being a more intellectual effort to understand certain philosophical ideas in depth.

    Gallery Hours:
    Wed - Fri 11-6
