Lucky 13's Pizza is worth the trek from downtown. Its at the edge of town and its pretty new but its got a foot hold. Its got a decent beer selection, good service, and good food. Its great if you want to get off the beaten path a bit, or if you're on your way down from some outdoor fun in the nearby foothills.

The only Neapolitan pizzeria in Idaho to be certified by the Verace Pizza Napolitano Association, and one of the only 20 restaurants in the U.S. to carry the VPN certification. Never heard of such a certification? Well its legit and the pizza here is cooked in a 900 degree wood-fired “community” oven. Another added bonus is the way they pick out a wine for you. Just by answering 3 simple questions you will be drinking the wine of your dreams, eating your very first piece of certified pizza, on an amazing patio surrounded by fire pits! Hours: Fall/Winter Sunday - Thursday: 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., Friday - Saturday: 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Spring/Summer Sunday - Thursday: 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., Friday - Saturday: 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.

A little Island flavor in the middle of the desert? Sure why not. Tiki Torches light up your path to one of Boise's more creative restaurant/bars. Decked out in Island paraphanalia inside and out the Reef feature's some great live music and food. The summer time theme is maintained all year long, although no one goes outside in the middle of January in fear of freezing their tiki's off. Hours of operation: Su-Th 11 a.m.-late, F-Sa 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Happy Hour: Drink specials after 9 p.m.
