Bottega Cafe is one of Chef Frank Stitt's four restaurants and has the best outdoor dining scene in Birmingham. Less expensive than it's pricier companion restaurant, Bottega, but with equally delicous Italian-inspired cuisine, the patio quickly fills up with young professionals after work. Don't miss out on the homemade pizzas cooked in a large wood burning oven. The Macaroni and Cheese is slso a favorite at this see-and-be-seen hot spot. They don't take reservations so it's best to avoid going with a large group if you don't want to wait for a table. Hours of Operation: Mon-Thurs 11 a.m.-10:30 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.-11 p.m. and Sat 11:30 a.m.-11 p.m.
