The Domain is a 700,000 square foot out door shopping complex of luxury fashions and restaurants. The main department stores, Neiman Marcus and Macy's, anchor the complex with high end stores like Barney's Co-Op, Louis Vuitton, and Tiffany's scattered between. Take a break from shopping and enjoy tea at the Steeping Room or relax by one of the many fountains. Parking at the Domain is a breeze with garages along the exterior walls.
Things get better with age, even shopping. The SOCO district of South Congress has been around for years but has recently become a destination spot for people with a pension for the past. It has the perfect mix of vintage originals and modern vintage. Stop by on the first Thursday of each month and celebrate Austin's quirkiest neighborhood with food, shopping, and of course LIVE MUSIC.

The 2nd Street district is the culmination of all things Austin. Its downtown and on ladybird lake, it features locally owned boutique stores, outdoor dinning, live music, AND it is pet friendly. Make it a hassle free day by parking in the City Hall garage. Most stores will validate parking up to 2 hours.

On the western edge of University of Texas campus on Guadulape is the drag. It doesn't take long to realize it a staple to longhorn students. It offers casual restaurants, boutique and vintage shopping, bookstores, and coffee with a free spirited college vibe. If you need something with a longhorn or just love the color burnt orange, stop by the Co-Op, UT's bookstore which has been at the center of the drag since 1896.
