Great outdoor seating patio and bar in Buckhead central. Southwestern/Native American feel that has a very unique menu selection and some of the best margaritas in town. The place is more upscale and features some very unique twists on the margarita. After you have had a few, you may feel like cooling off in the fountain out front, and if you do, please send us a picture or tell us about it. Hours of Operation: Mon-Fri 11:30am-11pm Sat 5pm-11pm Sun 5:30pm-10pm

We have said it countless times but we will say it again, our reviews are not based on the restaurant experience alone. Is this the best Mexican food Atlanta has to offer? Not even close. Find us a better patio scene with a better looking crowd and we will pick up your next dinner tab (just leave it under your pillow and we will get it while you are sleeping). We would be doing you an injustice if we did not mention this place based on the overall experience. Thank us later. Hours of Operation: Mon 11am-10pm Tue-Sat 11am-11pm Sun 12pm-10pm

Canoe has great food and sits right on the Chattahoochee River, which makes for a great atmosphere. It's not the easiest place to find but it is well worth the trip. It is also known as a spot to celebrate occasions and is a somewhat popular spot for the family after church. The food quality is outstanding and it is more upscale than the other selections on the list. Hours of Operation: Lunch- Mon-Fri 11:30-2:30 Sunday Brunch 10:30-2:30 Dinner- Mon-Thurs 5:30-10 Fri & Sat 5:30-11 Sun 5:30-9:30

Front Page News will make you feel like you are sitting right in the French Quarter in the middle of New Orleans. It draws a great after-work crowd, it's a popular spot on the weekends for dinner and drinks, and a very good brunch spot. They have one of the best outdoor patios in Atlanta and not that you care but they have a huge fountain outside providing some nice atmosphere. Hours of Operation: Sun-Wed 11am-12am Thu 11am-1am Fri-Sat 11am-2am

Shout has very good sushi, tapas, and even pizza, but so do places in the Food Court. What makes this place is the fact that you can sit outside in one of the cabanas and stare at the crowd and the Midtown skyline. The place is very stylish and it definitely qualifies for one of the better singles scenes in town. The outside bar is the place to be and your innocent dinner could turn into morning high fives. Hours of Operation: Mon 11:30pm-10pm Tue-Thu 11:30am-11pm Fri-Sat 11:30am-12am Sun 3pm-10pm

This relatively new Midtown location has 21 different beers on draft (at last count but who's counting) and a unique menu featuring quality pub style food. The place also features a great patio and has been getting high marks for their burgers. It's a great spot for happy hour or weekend brunch. Hours of Operation: Sun 10am-4pm, 5pm-10pm Mon-Thu 11am-3pm, 5pm-12am Fri 11am-3pm, 5pm-1am Sat 10am-4pm, 5pm-1am

Anis is an old Buckhead residence turned French bistro and has a year round (front) patio that some people call a porch. You can't use the word "porch" for a French bistro so we made the neccessary changes. Anyhow, it is a great choice for a romantic evening. You will need to be on a date because everyone else is. The food is fantastic and they may have the best mussels in town. If you don't like mussels just go with the snails. Is it arrogant to assume people like mussels and snails? Did we mention the place is French? Hours of Operation: Mon-Thu 11:30am-2:30pm, 6pm-10pm Fri-Sat 11:30am-10:30pm Sun 6pm-10pm

This is quickly becoming one of the most popular drinking destinations in the Buckhead area. It's a small bar, but not run-down and old like most other "dive" bars and the food is better than you would expect. You will not be disappointed in the crowd either since it is a very popular Florida State hangout. Sun-Thu 11:30am-10pm (For Food) Fri-Sat 11:30am-11pm (For Food) Bar is open daily until 2am

Let's be clear on our selections for this category so we don't confuse or mislead you. Places that happen to have outdoor seating are not neccessarily outdoor restaurants. Our suggestions are places that people think "outdoors" the moment you mention their name. Great patio scenes and large outdoor crowds will get you on this list. Treehouse is one of those places. Their outdoor patio is the perfect spot to sit and have a few drinks and dinner. On a sidenote, they have lobster nights on Monday & Tuesday (seasonal) and you are more than welcome to bring your pets in. Mon-Fri 5pm-12am Sat-Sun 11am-12am

The Nook is a great fun contemporary indoor and outdoor bar and restaurant in Midtown Atlanta right on Piedmont Park. Their signature drink is the Fishbowl which is about a gallon of booze in a actual fish bowl. It comes in four flavors! The food is solid american grub with a modern twist and the patio often has a good buzz. Hours of Operation: Mon-Wed. 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m. Thu-Sat. 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 a.m. Sun. 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m.

Siutated right on Piedmont Park, this place has great views of Midtown and plenty of people watching. They feature a full menu with pretty good food. Just keep in mind you are heading there to be outside on the park, not the filet. Feel free to bring your pet along. Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 4:30pm-2:30am Saturday 11:30am- 2:30am Sunday 11:30am-12:00am

What makes it one of our favorite outdoor restaurants is its prime location in the Virginia Highlands. The crowd is always great and its fun to watch bar hoppers stumbling around on North Highland. Grab a pizza and a beer and enjoy.
