The restaurant has a contemporary look and feel, and the food is outstanding. This is one of those places that it is just hard to find flaws with. The fish is fresh and delicious and the lamb is hard to pass on. It has all of the authentic Greek dishes you are looking for too! We recommend ordering a variety and sharing.

Don't judge a book by its cover because when you walk in there are huge ceilings and plenty of open space with a great atmosphere. The place is truly authentic South African food and many of the transplants living in Atlanta frequent the place. The wine list is almost all South African (imagine that) and makes for a great happy hour. Great live music on Wed and Fri.

It's a little pricey but deservingly so for a place with this level of sophistication. They feature one of the best wine lists in Atlanta and are great about pairing them up with the dishes you order. They have great small plates and desserts to compliment your Meditteranean-inspired dinner.

The food is Southwestern inspired and we had to find a way to get this place on here. The main reason is the lobster enchiladas and they are one of our favorite dishes in the city and a well kept secret in Atlanta. The shopping center location, between Buckhead and Midtown, is not going to impress you but we hope the food does. Besides, we have given you plenty of "upscale" places and it is time for one that won't break the bank.

Straits is a modern spin on Singaporean cuisine combined with a sexy Midtown dining experience. This new restaurant is the creation of Atlanta's own Chris "Ludacris" Bridges and renowned chef Chris Yeo. It's a must try. Singaporean cuisine is a mix of a combination of Thai, Indonesian, Chinese, Malay, Indian and Nonya cooking. Ludacris loves Atlanta and Atlanta loves Ludacris!

They are known for having great Spanish Tapas and their Paellas will get you hooked. Belly dancers and dancing wait staff summarize the upper-casual dining environment. Cheshire Bridge road is a little suspect for sure but Taverna Plaka is probably the gem of the road. Awesome Greek food under new management. Give Plaka a shot for your next Greek meal.
