Another buckhead lunch spot that could not be overlooked. The soup is fantasic and they offer healthy salads and sandwiches. It is definitely a favorite among ladies in the area getting together for lunch. The place draws a crowd but the line is usually quick and well worth the wait. Hours of Operation: Mon-Fri 11am-5pm

Tucked away in an unassuming shopping center on Pharr Road is the appropriately named Cafe at Pharr. Cafe at Pharr serves some of the best chicken salad in the city. With three flavors of chicken salad-curry, celery and walnut, Cafe at Pharr has a cult-like following at lunch in Buckhead. They serve their delicious chicken salad atop a bed of green salad with their special dressing and two slices of freshly baked bread, or in a sandwich. Add on some of their yogurt rolls (ends of a croissant cut off with yogurt in the middle) for the perfect mid-day meal. Other options are the shrimp salad, the chicken soup, the egg salad and the simple ham, turkey and roast beef sandwiches. Alon's is the type of place you would find in Europe with made from scratch breads, pastries, cakes, etc. It has grown from a small bakery in Virginia Highlands into a full blown market with two locations in Atlanta. Not to confuse you, stepping into Star Provisions is stepping into Gourmet heaven where you can pick out virtually anything you want. This is a gourmet store that happens to have sandwiches. You could also pick out food that would be fit to serve at a wedding reception.
