Overrated

Cafe Bombay. Boy, what a disappointment. On a weekend night, the restaurant was busy -- Apparently too busy as the service proved lousy. We weren't waited on for fifteen minutes, my appetizer was forgotten, then all of ten minutes was granted for my mother to eat her appetizer before our main courses were slammed down on the table. On top of this, they featured a "belly dancer" as entertainment that was anything but -- The music was loud, and grating, the "belly dancer" was a blond, caucasian girl dressed in a genie outfit and the entire performance was ridiculous and annoying at best. I'm not going to say that the food was bad, because it wasn't -- It just wasn't fabulous by any stretch of the imagination. As someone who's enjoyed Indian Cuisine all over the States and the world, I say satiate your Indian food cravings elsewhere...
