Kevin Rathbun is quickly becoming the most well known chef in town if he is not already and this is his crown jewel. The guy looks like a chef and recently kicked the crap out of the Iron Chef on TV. This restaurant changed the whole economy in the neighborhood and it is now a trendy spot to live, eat, and hang out. He could have a future in politics. Hours of Operation: Mon-Thu 5:30pm-10:30pm Fri-Sat 5:30pm-11:30pm

For starters it's a cool looking rehabbed industrial factory feel (follow?) and it has awesome views of Midtown. It should go without saying you will need a reservation and the place is completely top notch from the second you walk in the door. We are not going to insult the chef(s) by pretending to talk about this or that being infused with some ingredient, just know the place is top-notch. Many people would argue this is the best overall restaurant Atlanta has to offer. Hours of Operation: Mon-Sat 6pm-10:30pm

Joel is the best French restaurant in the city and an all-around upscale dining experience. Joel Antunes is the head chef and has extensive culinary experience from all around the world, most recently from The Dining Room over at the Ritz Carlton. Not surprisinly they have an award winning wine list to choose from. Hours of Operation: Lunch - Tues-Fri 11:30am-2pm Dinner - Tues-Sat 5:30pm-10pm

If you were the fourth best looking person in a city of over 4 million it's safe to say you are doing alright for yourself. When you end up #4 in this category it's about the same thing.... life's pretty good. Aria is known as "Innovative American" food and they do as good as job as anyone with presentation, selection, and flavor. Each menu selection is its own piece of art. The wine selection is outstanding and they may have the best dessert of any restaurant in town. Hours of Operation: Mon-Sat 6pm-10pm

Located in the Aramore condominium complex in Midtown, this place offers a phenomenal experience from their wine and cheese selection to their supberb dinner menu. One of the best kept secrets in Atlanta is their "Sunday Supper" where guests can choose from a set menu for only $29.50. This includes appetizer, entree, and dessert. Hours of Operation: Mon-Thu 11:30am-2pm, 5:30pm-11pm Fri 11:30am-2pm, 5:30pm-11pm Sat 5:30pm-11pm Sun 5:30pm-10pm

This is the type of restaurant you want to tell your close friends about only if they promise to keep it to themselves. So we are going to share it with anyone who cares to log onto the site, making it impossible to get a reservation. Call Al Gore and feel free to complain about it. It's one of the best date places in Atlanta and will set the bar high for all future dates. Hours of Operation: Sunday-Thursday 5:30 - 10:00 pm Friday and Saturday 5:30 - 11:00 pm

Stylish, sleek, and chic are words that we try and use sparingly because we don't want to sound like a bunch of idiots with a public forum trying to impress you. However, this Midtown location is all of the above and has a great atmosphere. The bar gets absolutely packed and you could devote an entire evening to it. The food and wine selection are top notch and the menu changes frequently. Usually we don't mention desserts unless they are well worth it and this is one of those times. Hours of Operation: Mon-Thu 5:30pm-11pm Fri-Sat 5:30pm-12am Sun 5:30pm-10pm

Repast features a husband and wife team (Joe Truex and Mihoko Obunai) who instead of fighting over the remote control decided to open one of the best neighborhood restaurants in the city of Atlanta. Repast has a little bit of everything from a variety of fresh fish to organic vegetable plates. They also have fantastic steaks, pork tendorloin, and lamb dishes for the meat lovers. One of the unique details of Repast is their wine list reflects production volume so you will know if you are drinking a mass, medium, or low produced wine. Hours of Operation: Mon–Thurs 5:30pm–10:00pm, Fri-Sat 5:30pm–10:30pm, Closed Sunday

The best steak in Atlanta, hands down. This place is a little small and dark and sometimes can be a little noisy, but the steak is incredible. The older Buckhead crowd at the bar and the lounge singer on the piano help to create a truly unique atmosphere...we think it's awesome. Make sure to valet your car because the parking situation is a little strange and towing/booting is strictly enforced. Hours of Operation: Mon-Sat 5:30pm-11pm
