Every major city has a museum that they are known for, and in Atlanta, it happens to be the "High". Check their website for exhibits, shows, upcoming events, etc. and make it a point to go. If you are not into museums, you need to get some culture in you and this is as good of place as any to start.

Fernbank has the skeleton of the largest dinosaur ever discovered and a five-story Imax screen with 315 seats. It's a National Geographic lover's dream and is the best natural history building the city has to offer. Grumblings of musuems being boring spawned the creation of Martinis and Imax on Friday nights... apparently drinking makes everything fun.

Make time to go pay tribute to one of the greatest Americans of all-time. This National Historic Site is a history buff's dream and will leave you with chills. Nothing in Atlanta is more special and sacred than the "King" Center.
