It has been designated as a National Historic Landmark (the highest national ranking) and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Fox is also a Georgia Museum Building (the most prestigious statewide ranking). It is a very intimate place for a show and the sound is fantastic. It is more of a midsize venue and there are limited seats throughout. The seats are located on the balcony level and the floor is for standing. They draw some great acts and the sound is fantastic. Because of the venue size you feel a part of the show and it gives you the opportunity to see a great band in a smaller setting. It is another mid-size venue with a good sound and they draw some pretty big acts. It can get hot and crowded, but that comes with the territory in a smaller venue. Thousands of random people (mostly drunk or other preferred substance) from all over Atlanta and surrounding towns make it as much of a party as a concert.
