The "fabulous" Fox Theatre is a historic site in Atlanta to say the least and is a great place to catch a live show. It has been designated as a National Historic Landmark (the highest national ranking) and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Fox is also a Georgia Museum Building (the most prestigious statewide ranking). It is a very intimate place for a show and the sound is fantastic. Check their website for all upcoming shows and other interesting facts.

This is the best outdoor music venue Atlanta has to offer. Chastain draws big acts and often times you can bring in your own picnic, wine, etc. If you want to really top off the experience, buy a table and go with a group. Check out their website for a listing of upcoming shows.

Phillips Arena consistently draws the biggest concert events in Atlanta and is the home to the Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Thrashers. For a venue its size, the sound is incredible and always ranks in the top 10 nationally. If you are lucky enough to get a suite or club level ticket, you will enjoy the red carpet treatment. Either way you are guaranteed a great experience in this relatively new arena. Check their website for upcoming events and see what interests you.

Lakewood Amphitheatre (formerly HiFi Buys Amphitheatre) is Atlanta's biggest outdoor venue and draws some of the biggest acts around. Thousands of random people (mostly drunk or other preferred substance) from all over Atlanta and surrounding towns make it as much of a party as a concert. We highly suggest taking MARTA to the show.

There are three venues within the CW Midtown Complex: CenterStage Atlanta, The Loft and Vinyl. CenterStage, formerly Earthlink Live, is the biggest of the venues with 1,100 seats. The Loft is the smaller more stylish sibling and Vinyl is for the music fan looking to shoot some pool in a bar setting.

"SOB" is a well known place in Atlanta for it's music, but the downstairs has pool tables, games, and darts. The crowd & staff are very friendly and the overall atmosphere is very chill. Hours of Operation: Mon-Sat 4pm-3am Sun 12pm-12am

Definitely one of the best live music venues in Atlanta. It is more of a midsize venue and there are limited seats throughout. The seats are located on the balcony level and the floor is for standing. They draw some great acts and the sound is fantastic. Because of the venue size you feel a part of the show and it gives you the opportunity to see a great band in a smaller setting. The box office opens 1 hour before show time.

Not a ton of shows, but it's really cool when they do have a concert so it's worth checking the schedule. Acts like the Wallflowers, Bruce Hornsby and more. The Atlanta Botanical Garden is located in Midtown Atlanta's Piedmont Park.
