Atlantic Station is its own little village that you never have to leave. It has a lot of your typical stores and is a great place to walk around and do some outdoor shopping without feeling like you are stuck inside a mall (if you're looking for small boutiques you won't find them here).
Virgina Highlands
Virginia Ave. & North Highland Ave. Atlanta, GA
The Highlands is a great area for outdoor shopping with plenty of boutique shops and stores. There are several blocks of shops and it is very easy to park and walk around North Highland Ave. The best part is that you will have plenty of food and drink choices while walking around!
Little Five Points
Atlanta, GA
"Little Five" is another great area for outdoor shopping. Similar to the Highlands, there are plenty of boutiques and shops. Both places are very popular spots on the weekends and very artist friendly (think nouveau grunge and a spice of punk). The map link listed is for the Little Five Points Community Center.
Amsterdam Walk
Monroe Dr and Amsterdam Ave Atlanta, GA 31132
Amsterdam Walk is a hidden shopping area in the Midtown area. Once you are in there, you will find some completely unique shops. Don't be confused, this is not like your typical mall or retail center. There are furniture stores (Bed Down is a must), clothing/ shoes stores, and jewelry stores. But, that being said, there is nothing cookie cutter about this place.
