The Glenn is located in downtown Atlanta at the intersection of Marietta and Spring Street. It's the "true" downtown boutique hotel with plenty of amenities including plasma televisions, wi-fi, and MP3 connections. All of the rooms are non-smoking and well designed. You will love the rooftop bar with amazing views of the Atlanta skyline. The CNN Center, Philips Arena, Georgia Dome, Georgia World Congress Center, Centennial Olympic Park, Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coke are all within walking distance or a very quick cab (for the lazy visitor). Expect to pay over $200 a night and upwards depending on which package you choose.

La Grotta is the best Italian restaurant in Atlanta and also has one of the best Italian wine selections (naturally). No need to insert lame Sopranos joke but the place is totally legit and would qualify as one of the best overall restaurant selections in town. If you have high expectations for fine Italian dining, we are confident this selection will meet and exceed those. Hours of Operation: Mon-Sat 5:45pm-10pm

Kevin Rathbun is quickly becoming the most well known chef in town if he is not already and this is his crown jewel. The guy looks like a chef and recently kicked the crap out of the Iron Chef on TV. This restaurant changed the whole economy in the neighborhood and it is now a trendy spot to live, eat, and hang out. He could have a future in politics. Hours of Operation: Mon-Thu 5:30pm-10:30pm Fri-Sat 5:30pm-11:30pm

Lobster Bar is the standard for seafood restaurants in Atlanta located right in the heart of Buckhead. Everything is done to perfection and this could be one of the finest restaurants in Atlanta, depending on who you ask. If you are not in the mood for seafood, you can order off the menu from Chops (upstairs) and have a steak. Hours of Operation: Mon-Thu 11:30am-2:30pm, 5:30pm-11pm Fri 11:30am-2:30pm, 5:30pm-12am Sat 5:30pm-12am Sun 5:30pm-11pm

Not only is this place the best Greek food in town, it is also one of the best seafood choices in Atlanta. The restaurant has a contemporary look and feel, and the food is outstanding. This is one of those places that it is just hard to find flaws with. The fish is fresh and delicious and the lamb is hard to pass on. It has all of the authentic Greek dishes you are looking for too! We recommend ordering a variety and sharing.

Some people may disagree with this selection at #1, but we don't really care what the former executive chef turned editor at such and such magazine says! We are not cashing checks from any of these places and none of our meals have been comped. This place is a little small and dark and sometimes can be a little noisy, but the steak is incredible. Make sure to valet your car because the parking situation is a little strange and towing/booting is strictly enforced. Hours of Operation: Mon-Sat 5:30pm-11pm

Formerly 1150, this is the best club in Atlanta at the moment and has recently had a massive renovation. The upstairs area has turned into "Opera-style boxes" that overlook the dance floor and would be the equivalent of the "VIP section". There is an outdoor area if you want to go chat with the person who has been making eye contact or grinding with you all night. Private bathrooms so you don't have to worry about stage fright or someone staring at your "package" or just want some privacy. Hours of Operation: Fri 10pm-4am Sat 10pm-3am

East Andrews is consistently one of the best bars in Atlanta and has been for years. There are more good looking singles in the courtyard than in the rest of Buckhead. Some people get sick and tired of going there and complain when you suggest it... ditch them and find new friends. People that don't like East Andrews are anti-fun and asexual, therefore cannot be trusted. Open Wed 6pm-10pm; Thu-Sat 6pm-11pm

Halo is best known for its Monday nights and is also one of the more popular weekend spots in Midtown. It's definitely one of the coolest lounges in Atlanta and has great atmosphere and music. Very modern, chic, trendy place and each experience will have its own story. You can take that however you want to. Hours of Operation: Mon-Fri 5pm-2:30am Sat 8pm-2:30am

For starters it's a cool looking rehabbed industrial factory feel (follow?) and it has awesome views of Midtown. It should go without saying you will need a reservation and the place is completely top notch from the second you walk in the door. We are not going to insult the chef(s) by pretending to talk about this or that being infused with some ingredient, just know the place is top-notch. Many people would argue this is the best overall restaurant Atlanta has to offer. Hours of Operation: Mon-Sat 6pm-10:30pm

Blue Genes has everything you need for kid's, women's, and men's clothing. If you can't find a pair of jeans that fits here, it may not be the "design" or the "cut". They have great end of the season sales where you can easily blow through a paycheck. Sign up for their free newsletter or get on their mailing list to keep you up to speed on events and sales. Hours of Operation: Mon-Fri 11am-7pm Sat 10am-6pm Sun 1pm-5pm

You'd be hard-pressed to find a better beer selection in Milwaukee or Munich. Smack-dab in Decatur's town square, it's the perfect place to catch a solid day-buzz or settle in for a night of quiet conversation or spirited debate with close friends. The atmosphere's warm and inviting with servers who understand beer-snobbery is a good thing. Be careful what you order. Many of the grogs' alcohol content hit double digits. The wine selection and menu are nothing to scoff at, but let's be honest -- you're there for the beer.

This is the type of restaurant you want to tell your close friends about only if they promise to keep it to themselves. So we are going to share it with anyone who cares to log onto the site, making it impossible to get a reservation. Call Al Gore and feel free to complain about it. It's one of the best date places in Atlanta and will set the bar high for all future dates. Hours of Operation: Sunday-Thursday 5:30 - 10:00 pm Friday and Saturday 5:30 - 11:00 pm

Scheme scheme, plot plot..(say what?)...I'm coming for that number one spot! Straits is a modern spin on Singaporean cuisine combined with a sexy Midtown dining experience. This new restaurant is the creation of Atlanta's own Chris "Ludacris" Bridges and renowned chef Chris Yeo. It's a must try. Singaporean cuisine is a mix of Thai, Indonesian, Chinese, Malay, Indian and Nonya cooking. Ludacris loves Atlanta and Atlanta loves Ludacris! Hours of Operation: Sunday Brunch: 10:00am - 3:00pm Dinner: Monday - Tuesday: 5:00pm - 12:00am, Wednesday - Sunday: 5:00pm - 1:00am

Great spot right next to Lenox Mall in Buckhead with the best food of any sports bar in Atlanta and there is a cigar room attached to the back of the restaurant which we highly recommend! They also have one of the best late-night food selections and late night crowds in Buckhead. During football season this has one of the most crowded Monday night happy hours. Any time there is a big sporting event the same applies. The idea of Sneaky Sunday spawned from a set of bar stools outside, no statue yet to commemorate this monumental occasion but we are told one is on the way. Hours of Operation: Mon-Sat 11:30am-2:30am Sun 12pm-2:30am

POUR YOUR OWN BEER! The latest concept by Concentrics Restaurant Group, Stats is an upscale sports bar DOWNTOWN near Philips Arena serving up tasty eats and it also provides a tap for most tables, so you can drink up all you want, as soon as you want! Sample the Seared Blue Fin Tuna, Barbecue Bacon Wrapped Shrimp & Cheddar Grits, Barbecued Candy Cane Pork Ribs, or the Blackened Grouper Tacos. The place is huge and a paradise for the city sportsfan who appreciates the finer things.

Back in the day Buckhead was one of the best nightlife scenes in the entire Southeast and Tongue and Groove was front and center of all the action. While the heart of Buckhead takes a break and has a facelift, Tongue and Groove has re-opened in a new location. This lounge/upscale bar/club hasn't skipped a beat and still draws a great crowd Wednesday through Sunday.

Shaun's is located in Inman Park and is known for it's Southern dishes. It's one of the best restaurants you have never tried for either brunch or dinner.
