This cozy spot is tucked away near MJQ on Ponce and definitely worth a trip to "booth canoodle," eat and drink. Novels line the shelves, the "fireplace" welcomes you inside, and the relaxed bar staff is very friendly. The Bookhouse Pub features 15 fantastic beers on draft and yummy comfort food. Indulge in friend mac n' cheese, collard green egg rolls and the juicy roast chicken or veggie plate. Plus, who doesn't love a real funnel cake for dessert?! The kitchen is open from 6pm to midnight and they keep the bar open until last call. The patio will open soon as the weather warms up. Oh, and you are guaranteed to feel more hip than your friends after dining and drinking here... They haven't heard of it yet! Hours: Mon-Thu. 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Fri-Sat. 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Sun. 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Fado's new location in the heart of Buckhead boasts a killer rooftop bar overlooking the city, and 3 stories of immaculately kept bar space. You really can't compare new Fado to the old one. While it's packed on the weekends it's a sea of mediocrity from a talent perspective. If you're a 5 or 6 on a scale of 1-10 then Fado is right in your wheelhouse. Get drunk before you go as it will make waiting in line for cocktails and hitting on ugly people much more tolerable.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a better beer selection in Milwaukee or Munich. Smack-dab in Decatur's town square, it's the perfect place to catch a solid day-buzz or settle in for a night of quiet conversation or spirited debate with close friends. The atmosphere's warm and inviting with servers who understand beer-snobbery is a good thing. Be careful what you order. Many of the grogs' alcohol content hit double digits. The wine selection and menu are nothing to scoff at, but let's be honest -- you're there for the beer.

With two locations in Atlanta (the other being in West Midtown off Northside) Six Feet Under is legendary. Grab a seat at the upstairs patio "bar" which looks over Oakland cemetery. The grub here is greasy and great all in the same bite. This is also one of the few places in Atlanta that serves Dogfish Head 60 minute on tap. Make the trip and get a tour of the oldest cemetery (Oakland)Atlanta after.

With high gravity beer specials this pub caters to anyone looking for nice local vibe with quality food. Another bonus is that on Thursday- Sunday (yes Sunday included) P'Cheen hosts a variety of DJ's. For the wine lovers they actually also have a good wine selection as well.

This place is the gem of Derek Lawford's pubs. Located in the heart of Highlands it's perfectly located as the first or last stop for pub crawls through the area. It's a pub with a pub atmosphere and lively late night scene on the weekends.

The Nook is a great fun contemporary indoor and outdoor bar and restaurant in Midtown Atlanta right on Piedmont Park.
