This place accomplishes three very important goals- 1. Extending the weekend as long as possible 2. Providing hair of the dog 3. Yet another opportunity to hook up for those that struck out all week. Hours of Operation: Mon-Thu 5:30pm-11pm; Fri 5:30pm-12am; Sat 1pm-12am; Sun 1pm-10pm

Imagine Hooters, a strip club, and an Elite model agency... now stir them up in your mind and throw in a bar with an excellent restaurant... The Tavern at Phipps is the result. Married men leave their wedding rings in the cupholders of their cars and come straight in after work or for the "business meeting". Women show up at all times of the day because it is located in the mall. However you want to describe it this place is famous for it's happy hour. The bartenders have honed their craft and could star in Cocktail and Kenny G performs nightly outside. The food is very good, mainly Louisiana/cajun inspired. Hours of Operation: Mon-Thu 11am-11pm Fri-Sat 11am-12am Sun 11am-10pm

Fantastic spot right in Midtown that is great for happy hour, usually has some good live music, and the food (mostly cajun-stylye) is extremely tasty. Great layout for a restaurant/bar and you can make a whole night out of this place! On a sidenote, they have one of the best Mardi Gras parties in Atlanta. Hours of Operation: Sun-Wed 11am-12am Thu 11am-1am Fri-Sat 11am-2am

Here to Serve Restaurants has had plenty of success in Atlanta and Lola is their first Italian concept. This is the best place in the area for "executive happy hour" with great Belinni's and antipasto selection. We can talk about the food and drinks all we want but at the end of the day this crowd is here to mix it up with other singles. Hours of Operation: Lunch: Monday-Friday: 11:30am-4:00pm Dinner: Sunday, Monday: 5:00pm-10:00pm, Tuesday-Thursday: 5:00pm-11:00pm, Friday-Saturday: 6:00pm - 12:00am

The new Tin Lizzy's Taqueria and Cantina near Grant Park has friendly bartenders, premium tequilas and affordable "non-traditional southwest" eats are what this locally-established neighborhood restaurant and bar is best known for. The second location just opened (January 2009) in Grant Park in the old Six Feet Under space. The bar’s signature drinks include the Tin Lizzy’s $4 Signature Margarita and the “Dizzy Lizzy.” The bar features 30 different premium tequilas, including Jose Cuervo, Herradura, Patron and Don Julio, so be careful which friends (ahem, the shot pushers) you invite along. Tin Lizzy's makes their guacamole from scratch all day and serves up tasty fried fish and buffalo chicken tacos. This casual spot sits across from Oakland Cemetery and will boast arguably the best patio in the city once the weather warms up. They serve food until 11pm nightly and they keep the doors open until midnight on Sunday... in case you feel like having a "sneaky" one.

The Nook is a great fun contemporary indoor and outdoor bar and restaurant in Midtown Atlanta right on Piedmont Park.
