Deserving of the hidden designation as it is tucked away in a tiny spot near but not exactly in Old Town, Albuquerque! It’s a gem because this place is headed up by one of our town’s most innovative, creative people in any kitchen - and along with a couple other great local chefs, they form a trio that is unbeatable! The menu changes for both lunch and dinner weekly so you’ll need to check their website! Such savory entrée’s and sweet sumptuous desserts, the sneaky scale is off the charts here! Suggest making a reservation for dinner. Hours – Lunch, Tues-Fri 11-2 Dinner, Thurs-Sat 5 til close

This restaurant has a place on Sneaky Sunday’s best date list and needs mentioning as a hidden gem as well! You’ll find it in a historic and charming adobe in Old Town Albuquerque. A gem as the owner/chef is actually from France and knows her authentic cuisine – and of course - crepes! If you fantasize about crepes worthy of the motherland, she’ll make you happy with both sweet (her favorite is a chocolate/hazelnut) and savory, which incorporate meats and vegetables. Hours – Lunch, Tues-Sun 11:30-2pm Dinner, Tues-Sat 6pm-9pm

If you’d like the experience of dining in one of the oldest structures in the state of New Mexico, check out this spot! (verified to have been built around 1706) Sneaky Sunday thinks that this alone qualifies it as a gem, for sure! Featuring New Mexican menu items that range from amazing and authentic breakfast plates to soup and salads, grilled specialties, favorites such as homemade tamales, fresh and original sandwiches and quite a bit above average burgers! (served on Navajo fry bread or a tortilla) It’s location in Old Town makes it a perfectly convenient time out from, or end to, a day of shopping and museums! Hours – Mon-Sat, 8am-9pm Sun 8am-4pm
