Undoubtedly a Sneaky Sunday best! Although this Northeast Heights place is fairly new on the scene, it’s already established itself as the place to get your oyster fix! During happy hour they’re available, first come, first serve! (Lounge and Patio, currently 3-6 & 9-10) Varies daily whether the oysters arrived from the west or east coast, premium quality is what you’ll get! (Available as an appetizer on the restaurant’s dinner menu as well) Definitely worth checking out for the oysters alone but its uber swank lounge, outdoor patio, live music and premium fine dining menu may make you hang out for more! Hours – Lounge & Patio Mon-Thurs 3-10, Fri-Sat 3-11 Restaurant Lunch Mon-Fri 11-3 Dinner Daily at 5

Again, if you’re looking for a variety, Pappadeaux’s is the right spot for seafood, specifically oysters! You can have them chilled or baked on the half shell, you can have them combined with other seafoods and sauces, you can have them fried,and/or accompanied by catfish, shrimp and crab - you can even have them in a PoBoy for lunch! Seriously, the dessert menu is the only place you won’t find an oyster! Sneaky Sunday thinks if you’re in Albuquerque, cruising along I-25 and feel the need for oysters, you’ll find enough variety to fill that need here! Hours – Mon-Thurs 11-10 Fri-Sat 11-10:30 Sun 11-9

This Southeast Heights Albuquerque location, very near to Kirtland AFB is a good choice for quick, pick-em-up and go style oysters, as well as barbeque. Nothing fancy here, – oysters-in-a-basket, on-a-platter, alone or mixed up with shrimp, clam and catfish. Fried or fresh! Even have house made rolls and cobblers. Down-home-style cooking is what’s going on at JR’s! Hours – Mon-Sat 10:30-9pm Sun 10:30-8pm
