Don’t let its mall location deter you, in fact there’s an entrance just inside. Chow’s is not remotely similar to a mall fast food court eatery – this is truly gourmet all the way. The food is Asian fusion with an eye towards the southwest palate which favors the hot and spicy! You may want to try the Santa Fe Mushu, pork or chicken, egg and vegetables sautéed and rolled into pancakes, eaten fajita style or give the Orange Peel Beef a try, cooked with whole red chile and orange peel, very spicy! You will want to come back again and again as you’ll want to order everything on the menu; too many mouth watering choices for carnivores and vegetarians alike. Be sure to have some of the Chow’s tea, a special brew. A nice selection of wine and beer is also available. Hours – Mon-Thurs 11-9pm Fri 11-930pm Sat 11:15-930pm Sun 1130-830pm

East meets Southwest at Pacific Rim! Located in the Northeast Heights of Albuquerque, the menu tantalizes with Pan Asian delicacies while satisfying the need for fiery heat that’s burned a spot into the palate of most of us who live close to the border! So upscale the air seems thin, 6500 sq ft of eye candy interior – you can hang out in the Buddha Lounge before or after your meal (so many sakes and sake cocktails to choose from) or maybe check out the sushi bar that’s open on the sneakiest of late nights - Tuesdays and Thursdays. (master sushi chef!) Only spot in town with Korean bulgogi (fire meat) tables – cook it yourself or let them do it, sneaky at its best! Hours – Mon-Thurs 11:30-9:30 Fri-Sat 11:30-10:00 Late night sushi Tues & Thurs 9-11pm

Just off I-25, in the middle of this spread out desert town is where you’ll find PF Chang’s. Consistently sublime cuisine and service make this a great Sneaky Sunday spot any day of the week! It’s easy to forget this place is a chain – start to finish – appetizers to dessert – impressive to the chain snob in your party! Appealing to the vegetarian as well as the athlete – there’s a “training table menu” for those competitive types who carefully manage their protein, carbs and so on… so as to be always at their sneaky best! Hours – 11-11 Daily Fri-Sat 11-midnight

If you find yourself sneaking around Albuquerque’s Westside, hungry for a Chinese meal, then stop by China Luck. And if buffet style appeals to you, it’s huge, fresh and well tended to by the staff. The regular menu includes every standard dish you could expect. Especially good for lunch during a busy sneaky type day as the portions are giant - you can save them for a late, late night snack! Hours – Mon-Sat 11am-9pm Sun noon-8pm
