Image of P.U.S.H- Thursdays @ Sauce Nightclub/ DJ TRANZIT
Hello- PWRKRD Productions and Vinyltech DJ’s have teamed up and are proud to present PUSH Thursdays. PARTY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS. Every Thursday at Sauce a rotating line up of local DJ’s will be opening up for our resident DJ’s Class Act and Beatnick. The music will always be different, sometimes Beatnick and Jeff playing together, sometimes alone. We will be having themed nights and also some great giveaways from sponsors like Red Bull and Von Zipper Sunglasses. But on top of all that, once a month PWRKRD and Vinyltech will be flying out one of the Top 150 DJ’s in the world to headline PUSH Thursday. On those nights we will have a local DJ open, Class Act and Beatnick will rock the middle set, and then one of the Top 150 DJ’s will close the event. We are ready to give Albuquerque the music it deserves but we are going to need your support! The only way these events are going to continue to happen is if we pack the house! So please come support your local music scene. I have attached Septembers flyer. It outlines the details on all the PUSH Thursdays we will be hosting at Sauce. In October we will issue a new flyer that will outline everything we are doing in October. So, spread the word, let your friends know…throw it up on your facebook, myspace, twitter. Let’s get everyone in ABQ to rally around good, live music once a month. We deserve it. P.U.S.H- THURDAYS begins on 9/3/09....... Email me to get on the list..... Image of The Albuquerque; Learn Tai Chi Meetup
This is a Tai Chi Chih Basic I Class. We will begin to learn the gentle yet powerful movement of this Tai Chi form. We will learn three new movements in each of the basic classes. The basic I level of this form will include three classes. The Tai Chi Chih Basic II class will include three new movements with each class. The Basic II classes will number four. A certificate will be presented to each meet up member who passes the Tai Chi Chih Movement Ability Test. However this test is only for those who wish to be certified as a Tai Chi Chih Practitioner. Classes will be provided for Certified Practitioners, and Those Certified Practitioners who wish to deepen their Practice. There are many stress relieving, relaxing and healing activities put before us these days by the media. To ourselves we say: "I need something, but what." So we go to the gym which is very good for us. Eating right is another important thing for health. So we eat well, to the best of our ability. However, the stress relief and body healing just does not seem to work. Americans look for real results in their activities. Many things sound good, but after months of trying, often the common modalities we use to take care of our mind our bodies and most importantly our spirits seem to fail. So we give up for a while and go on with life until the next "good idea" presents itself. Stop the Circle and join us in learning Tai Chi Chih. To cover the expenses of these classes, all outdoor classes will be $5.00 each, and all indoor classes will be $10.00 each. Special classes and locations: prices will be announced

  • Live Free Fellowship Home Church Meetup  Postal code 87110, United States
    6:00 PM
Image of Live Free Fellowship Home Church Meetup
Hi friends! Looking forward to seeing you at our first meetup! As you may have seen from our description we are a fledgling experiment in freedom! We are exploring the simple church life! At our meetup we will first share a meal together; for the first meetup it will be our little offering to our guests! After that each meetup will be a potluck unless we have something else planned. We will share stories about our life in New Mexico and things God has done for us and perhaps things everyone would like to see happen in their future. The focus will mainly be getting to know new friends! We may have some time sharing from the Scriptures (not lengthy) and a few words of encouragement. We like to include prayer in all we do. Our objective is getting to know Jesus better and learning to experience Him in greater ways. Rather than a preacher-centered church life we envision get togethers where Jesus is the center and everyone can share and participate in some way. Each weekly meetup may be somewhat different. As for exploring freedom issues, we plan to take one week per month to focus on what Scripture has to say about civil government, our rights and responsibilities as Christians, how to get a basic grasp of our Constitution, the spiritual heritage of our Republic, and ways we can defend liberty today...and why! Since the Bible relates to all areas of life we will seek to see how it relates to our own situation today as regards freedom. The other weekly gatherings will focus on more general areas of Biblical or spiritual interest. At future meetups we will plan some future fun events as well. Those events would include things like going out to dinner (or breakfast!), attending a sporting event together, taking day trips out to scenic areas, short hikes, (uhm, short!), maybe a board game night, parties for just about any reason, etc.! We want to include the children in most of our activities too. Who said church life has to be boring? Come with a sense of humor, desire to meet and get to know others and a desire to experience a new kind of spiritual adventure that we call simple church. So simple anyone can do it!

Come enjoy Celtic music at Two Fools Pub where the craic is mighty. This should be a lot of fun. They have a full menu for those wanting a bite to eat. Sunday Brunch is served from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm followed by live Celtic music from 3:00 until 6:00 pm. We invite you to bring the kids and family to enjoy the festivities. More about the Pub: Two Fools Tavern is an unrelenting dream finally realized by folks who had a desire to bring a real Irish pub and eating establishment to Albuquerque, New Mexico. They envisioned and executed faithfully an authentic replication of the pubs they had visited in Ireland. The warmth, charm, European feel and essence is all evident in the Two Fools Tavern. The colors, furniture, pictures on the wall, the knick knacks placed throughout ... and of course the ales, stouts and fine whiskies and cuisine of the Emerald Isle is all here to enjoy. The tavern invites everyone (of age) to come and visit, imbibe in a Guiness, artfully poured, and partake in your favorite Irish food.
